Raised in a military family, Leigh Watkins’ family moved frequently. This inspired her as a child to create adventures in every new backyard, some desolate and dry, others wet and vibrant.

These experiencesdeveloped a passion for travel and adventure in Leigh. She believes adventure can be found by anyone, young and old, whether in real life or by tapping into our capacity for child-like imagination.

Leigh lives in Columbus, Ohio where she continues adventuring with Annie and Nico – her real-life (but now grown-up!) grandchildren.
